A 5-6hrs drive will take you to the largest National Park in Uganda. From Kampala through Hoima-Masindi Road to the park covering about 3,893 Sq Km. 
The park can also be reached by Air. Chattered flights can land at the Airstrip with in the park at Pakuba North of the Nile only 19 Km from Paraa and South at Bugungu
The ferry will cross daily on an hourly basis except at 13:00hrs. From 07:00-19:00.

Today the main activities in the park are the Chimp tracking at Kaniyo Pabidi as you enter the park. Get a briefing at the main offices and get a ranger guide who will lead you through the forest to trek the chimps. It will take you from 1-2hrs trekking these forest creatures. But one thing is that at times it takes a little longer to see the chimps since they are active moving in so many places. The advantage with chimps is that they are easy to track as they occasionally communicate with distant groups. Chimps normally use facial expressions, postures, sounds and signals to communicate which makes them easy to track.

A game drive after crossing the ferry will enable you see lots of wild life including the Water bucks, Jackson Heartbeast, Impalas, The Uganda Kobs, Elephants, Giraffes, Warthogs, herds of Buffalos, the Oribi, lots of Hippos, lions and many more.
For bird lovers, there are over 360Species of birds recorded in Murchison Falls. Rare shoebill storks can be spotted, The Fish Eagles, the crested cranes, the kingfisher, the great blue Turaco and lots more

A boat cruise will also enable you get close to the Sun bathing Hippos, Lots of Crocodiles, birds, and other animals that get close to the water for quenching their thirst.

Common is the 3 Days Popular Murchison falls Safari. The itinerary can always change depending on the clients wish doing a few activities on the first day and getting back to Kampala by 13:00hrs on the third day. Spending the Night in Masindi on the first day
 And waking up early for Chimp tracking at Kaniyo pabidi, followed by a boat cruise and the third day Game drive and Top of the falls.
