A fresh look after 20 years!

This April, Mamaland Safaris quietly turned 20. Two decades of guiding unforgettable journeys through Uganda’s wild beauty. To mark this milestone, we’ve refreshed something close to our hearts—our logo.

The new design (the first one of the pictures above) keeps the spirit of the original: a mother walking with her child, silhouetted by the African sun. This image has always represented the values we hold dear—care, connection, and purpose. These remain unchanged.

But the design has evolved. It reflects how far we’ve come since our start in 2005, and how committed we are to keep growing.

Same spirit. Fresh tracks.

A look down memory lane after 20 years

A look down memory lane reminds us how it all began. In 2005, our founder Tony started Mamaland Safaris by offering guided day trips around Kampala. From these humble beginnings, we’ve quickly grew into a company trusted for full safari journeys across Uganda and beyond. Those early trips didn’t just create memorable holidays—they built friendships for life. Many of our first visitors are still friends of Tony to this day. Over the years, Mamaland Safaris has expanded to include specialized birding safaris, school expeditions, and combination tours across East Africa—while keeping that same personal touch.

At Mamaland, our mission has never wavered. We continue to deliver personalized, responsible safaris built around each traveler’s unique interests. Whether you come to track gorillas, marvel at birds, explore culture, or enjoy time with family—your safari is shaped by your story.

Over the years, we’ve expanded our impact: building eco lodges under Woodland Lodges, supporting reformed poachers in Ishasha, and crafting itineraries with the insight that only comes from deep field experience.

The new logo marks a visual evolution, but the core remains: New look. Same Mamaland magic.

Thank you for being part of our journey so far. We’re excited for the path ahead.
