A couple from USA travelling with us now in July enjoyed their time exploring the beautiful crater lakes area. This region close to the town Fort Portal and Kibale Forest national park is known for its many crater lakes and beautiful scenery. It is also a place where you can be lucky to spot some primates like black & white colobus, red tailed monkey and red colobus. Our visitors went for a guided walk and experienced this beautiful area. Keeping their eyes open to spot monkeys as well as impressive birds.
A journey through Uganda
A safari with us is not just about Uganda’s amazing animals, it also includes beautiful scenery and interactions with Uganda’s friendly people. The crater lakes region mentioned here is located just by Kibale Forest National Park and offers lovely scenery as you drive along or step out for a walk. Here you get to see the crater lakes and possibly a few primates.
The safari highlights are off course activities like Mountain Gorilla trekking and game-drives on the savanna, but the journeys in between them can also be memorable. Stops in villages, markets, tea plantations, banana plantations or lovely sceneries lets you meet Uganda’s people and get an idea of how life is like in Uganda’s countryside.
