Paul and Moses are right now out on a safari with a group from Sweden covering chimps trekking in Kibale Forest National Park, a boat-cruise in Queen Elizabeth National Park, Mountain Gorilla trekking, rest by Lake Bunyonyi and a visit to the remote country side in northern Tanzania. A true adventure for our visitors!
During their days crossing from the crater lakes region down to Queen Elizabeth NP they had these experiences among others:
- A tasty lunch at Topi Lodge by Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth NP
- A boat-cruise on Kazinga channel that offers great sightings of hippos, buffaloes and more.
- Posing by the Equator.
- A stop by a beautiful crater lake during the drive towards Queen Elizabeth NP
- The mandatory pinneaple break (Uganda has amazing fruits!)
If you are interested in a similar experience with days in Queen Elizabeth NP we have several itinerary options that could fit you. If you are short on time our 3-days Queen Elizabeth National Park safari is perfect. It has highlights of searching for Ishasha’s tree-climbing lions, a boat-cruise on Kazinga channel and chimpanzee trekking in Kalinzu Forest.
If you have more time it is possible to include more of Uganda’s wonderful wildlife and scenery. Possible itineraries are then for example 7-days Uganda Tour or 12-days Uganda Tour with Big 5 & gorillas. These itineraries both includes Mountain Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Mountains National Park and chimpanzee trekking in Kibale Forest National Park. A difference is that the 12-days option includes Murchison Falls National Park and Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary (the later adding the chance to tick off “the Big 5”).
