Family safari in Murchison Falls NP

This August a family from Israel went with our guide Moses on a family safari in Uganda. One of the last highlights in their itinerary was to explore Murchison Falls NP. Here they got to search for lions, see giraffes and see the mighty Nile at the top of Murchison Falls.

Their family safari focused on the northern part of Uganda having highlights like Sipi Falls hike, cultural meetings with the Karamojong people, game-drives in Kidepo Valley NP as well as Murchsion Falls NP and finishing off with trekking rhinos at Ziwa rhino sanctuary. A varied itinerary well fit for a family safari.

Murchison Falls is nicknamed the giraffe paradise of Uganda and for sure the many giraffes that can be seen here gives excitement during the game-drive. Standing up in the roof-hatch as you see impressive animals a few meters away is an unforgettable memory to share as a family. Other highlights in Murchison Falls included posing by the might Nile at Murchison Falls and taking a pineapple brake to taste Uganda’s amazing fruits.
