Our guide Dona is taking a lovely German couple for our popular 16 days Uganda safari – from North to South. They are enjoying a safari with culture and wildlife in a nice mix, starting off with safari in Kidepo .
As Dona sends their greeting they have already ticked off “the big 5”. Trekking rhinos at Ziwa rhino sanctuary and then seeing elephant, lion, leopard and buffalo in the remote Kidepo Valley National Park in the north of Uganda. An interesting cultural meeting with the Karamojong people finished off the fist part of the safari before they start the journey south-wards.
About our 16 days Uganda safari – from North to South
This 16-days safari is among our most popular itineraries. It lets you really see the diversity Uganda offers, in nature, culture and wildlife. It starts off in the north with safari in Kidepo Valley National Park as mentioned above. Then we journey southwards for game-drives in Murhchison Falls National Park with highlights of giraffes and the impressive water fall. Continuing on you trek chimpanzees in Kibale Forest National Park and search for tree-climbing lions in Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Next is the top highlight of Mountain Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. We then finalize the adventure with Lake Mburo National Park for zebras and beautiful antelopes.
