The tree-climbing lions of Queen Elizabeth National Park’s Ishasha sector are truly one of the top highlights of Uganda. There are just two places in the world where the lions have the behavior of regularly climbing trees. These images were taken during a game-drive in Ishasha and shows the special behavior of these big cats. Imagine the excitement in the car as they were driving through Isahasha’s savannah with their eyes on the big fig-trees in search of lions and all of a sudden sighted them lying there!
