Kampala city tour- 1 day

Let us show you Kampala during this Kampala city tour, the bustling capital city of Uganda with a population of over two million at the shores of Lake Victoria. Kampala is a colorful city with a mix of people and ways of life. In several places nice views are offered since the city is originally built on seven hills, even-though it has now grown bigger.

Day by day itinerary for our Kampala city tour:

DAY 1: CITY TOUR OF KAMPALA

We start our Kampala city tour from your hotel in the morning and use either public transport or a car to get around (depending on your preference). Using public transport adds an extra experience to the city tour as you get closer to life here by using the communal minibuses called taxis. When having reached the center we look around, seeing highlights like the old taxi park, markets and city life while you learn about the Ugandan culture. This city tour of Kampala lets you get a true taste of the city of Kampala!

The tour can be half or full day, depending on your wishes. If you want a full day city  tour it can as well include options like lunch of local food, a crafts market, Gaddafi mosque or Namirembe cathedral. To reach some of these locations we have to use car instead of public transport.
