Come for a safari to the untouched wilderness of Kidepo Valley National Park. This remote park in the north of Uganda is something out of the ordinary and the only one in Uganda where you can see both zebras and giraffes in the same place. During this 5 days Kidepo Valley safari you’ll see animals of the savanna as well as meet the fascinating Karamojong people. On the way back you make a stop at Ziwa rhino sanctuary to trek rhinos.

Day by day itinerary:
Be picked up by your guide in the morning and start your 5 days Kidepo Valley safari . Be prepared for a long day in the car, but with a lot to see as you enjoy the Ugandan landscape passing by the windows during this day of transfer.
Overnight Boma hotel Kitgum
After breakfast drive northwards through Lira in a landscape of vast plains and semi-arid savannah framed by jagged mountains and wooded hills, Kidepo is one of the wildest and most spectacular reserves in Africa. The landscape throughout the park is studded with small hills, rocky outcrops and inselbergs from which one can obtain stunning views in all directions enjoy panoramic views of the Narus River Valley and photographic opportunities of wildlife from all corners, An evening game drive along the Narus River Valley for game Viewing and photography of Elephants, herds of Buffaloes, Jackals, Jackson’s Hartebeest, Klipspringer and possibly Lions.
Overnight at Apoka hostel bandas
After an early breakfast we continue our 5 days Kidepo Valley safariby going for a morning game drive to Kanangorok hot spring. A variety of animals can be seen roaming around including Ostrich. In the afternoon have a cultural experience that will bring into contact with Karamojong peoples at Karenna and Kapedo. Meet the local elders and have an opportunity to interact with them. They will show you the kraals, the grinding stones and many more interesting items.
Overnight at Apoka hostel bandas
Travel through the remotest zones of Uganda, seeing the villages and thatched houses passing by the window. Spend the night in the town of Gulu.
Overnight in the Churchill hotel
You leave Gulu, Uganda’s second biggest town, after breakfast. Along the way to Kampala take a light break at the Ziwa Rhino sanctuary to look at rhinos being reintroduced to Uganda. Before Kampala your guide will point out to the Popular Luwero triangle and continue through to the City as he drops you at your hotel at the end of your 5 days Kidepo Valley safari.

The accommodation can be adapted to your price range of budget, mid-range or luxury. Of course a mix is also possible.
