Lake Mburo safari experience, The final stop on the trip for our guide Paul and Swedish visitors was a Lake Mburo. After leaving beautiful Lake Bunyonyi in the morning they arrived at the lodge by Lake Mburo national park in time for lunch. They could then enjoy the tasty food and nice setting at the restaurant of Rwakobo Rock. Later in the afternoon it was time to explore the park with a game-drive. Highlights in Lake Mburo include zebra, giraffe, impala and if you are lucky leopard.
Lake Mburo National Park
Lake Mburo National Park, west of Kampala, is Uganda’s smallest savannah park at 370 square kilometers. Despite its size, it’s packed with wildlife. Spot 68 mammal species, including zebras, impalas, giraffes, elands, topis, and buffaloes. Predators like leopards, hyenas, and jackals are also found here. Bird lovers will enjoy 315 bird species, including top ticks lie African Finfoot.
