Day by day itinerary:
Have an early transfer (for a 4 1/2hr drive) to Lake Mburo Natioal Park, the ‘Zebra magnet’ for our 2-days Lake Mburo safari. Stop over and take photo poses at the equator and continue driving through Masaka. When entering the park enjoy a landscape of vast savannah dotted with acacia and shrubs. Head for the lodge for check in and lunch. In the late afternoon go for a game-drive for view of zebras, giraffes, topis, warthogs, cape buffaloes and impalas.
Overnight in Rwakobo Rock
Get early up for a safari walk by the lodge with chance of seeing zebras, waterbucks, birds and buffaloes in their day break jungle life! Go back to the lodge for breakfast before starting the drive towards Kampala. Make a stop along the way by the famous Mabamba Swamp for the Prehistoric Great Shoe bill Stork, the swamp is also a host of many water birds! After hopefully spotting this fascinating bird continue on to Kampala as we have reached the end of our 2-days Lake Mburo safari.

Accommodation: In general accommodation mentioned in the itinerary is good places on budget to mid-range level (with the exception of luxury safaris). The accommodation can be adapted to your price range of budget, mid-range or luxury. Of course a mix is also possible.
