Activities by Topi Lodge
The highlight among activities around is of course a game-drive in Ishasha. Ishasha is known for its tree-climbing lions. It is actually a rare behaviour for these big cats to regularly climb trees and is truly a special sight to see a big lion resting on a branch! Besides the tree-climbing lions a game-drive in Ishasha lets you see for example topi, elephant, cape buffalo, Uganda cob and possibly a leopard sighting.
For birders Ishasha offers opportunity to see Marshal Eagle, larks, Lappet faced vulture, Terek Sandpiper among other ticks.
The lodge offers a community walk you shouldn’t miss if you have the time. Topi Lodge has Queen Elizabeth National Park on one side and then the community on the other. A guided walk down into the village close by gives you insight into how life is here and warm meetings with Uganda’s friendly people.
